Dr. Mani L. Bhuamik endows three new funds for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
Dr. Mani L. Bhaumik has very generously established three new funds for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at the Mani L. Bhaumik Insitute. Together with UCLA matching funds, this will provide new endowed funds of $9 million within five years. The income from the funds will provide summer support for graduate students and help fund new directions, especially on fundamentals of quantum physics, including quantum entanglement and related topics. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Bhaumik for his continued generosity and visionary support of theoretical physics at UCLA. We are also grateful to Dean Miguel Garcia-Garibay for his continued enthusiastic support towards building theoretical physics at UCLA.
